Noooooooo - she cannot be gone

I always wanted to make a Disney costume but while thinking about one or another idea a friend of mine decided to make Rapunzel costume and in the end I decided to join her as Mother Gothel. I enjoyed her character so much during the movie since she is not the stereotype of villian one would expect. Most of all I fell in love with her vivid expressions - that is what we tried to capture in this picture. Of course it is hard to imitate a cartoon character but with some exaggerated makeup and my wonderful photographer ~misstakashi we eventually got the right atmosphere. The costume was completely sewn by myself (the fabric was a lucky find which, even not accurate envisions the colour and pattern scheme in a way i really like) including a hand painted gold/yellow lining on the sleeves. I also styled my wig and did the makeup. Hope you like! (Debuted for the Disney Villianesses contest of da group disney-club)
